Trudy came to Journey Home with a broken leg and a body full of ticks. Despite the pain she has experienced, Trudy has transformed into a big, spoiled, cuddly lapdog (yes I said lapdog!). Trudy will be a BIG girl, just look at the size of those paws!
Trudy: I am shy when meeting new people, but once I am comfortable with you, we'll be the best of friends! Please note, I enjoy ear scratches very much and will make sure I thank you with lots of kisses! I am very curious and love to see what you are up to; I will always be right by your side, or be your shadow. I love to be the center of attention, currently I am unsure about other dogs but once my activity restrictions let up, I am told I will start making friends. I especially don't enjoy loud noises outside, people walking past windows/doors, etc. and I will make sure it is known by my voice! I'm amazing on a leash but free-spirited at times... I need lots more work learning commands, especially since it is hard for me to get up with my broken leg right now. I do well in my crate at night as long as I can see you, and I settle down quickly for bed. Potty training is a work in progress, I still have occasional random accidents in the house.
I would make a loyal companion... if you'll have me! :)
