Tank has severe entropion. This is where the eyelids curl in and rub against the eyes. If not corrected, not only is it super painful but can also cause corneal ulcers and eventually loss of vision. In a full grown dog, the corrective surgery is cutting the excessive skin away. However since he still has lots of growing to do, his eye lids will be tacked with 2 sutures at top and bottom of each eye to correct them. These sutures will remain in until he is full grown. Occasionally once the dog grows, the eye lids correct themselves. However, once he is full grown it is likely he will need corrective surgery.

GIVE and be the reason Tank will get to live comfortably and see as his new life after rescue!

To be a part of an animal's journey to a better life; to love and provide safety to their forever home, is something truly special and what animal rescue is all about.  It's what we strive for.
