Pinto came to Journey Home infected with Parvo and needing treatment.
Parvo is a contagious virus mainly affecting dogs. It is highly contagious and is spread from dog to dog by direct or indirect contact with their feces. Vaccines can prevent this infection, but mortality can reach 91% in untreated cases. Treatment often involves veterinary hospitalization.
There is no cure for parvo, but supportive care over the course of the illness is important. Treatment helps alleviate symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.
Please help us FIGHT for Pinto's life and well-being by funding a share of his medical treatment.
