Mange is a terrible disease that can be deadly if exposed to an aminal with weak immune system. We often see this in poorly cared for puppies and dogs that we rescue. It is caused by a mite that causes skin irritation and inflamation that can lead to open sores, dehydration, and death.
 
Good news is with treatment we can often save these animals!
