This beautiful girl is Pennie! She is a sweetheart of a dog that loves people and other dogs. She has been in foster for a few weeks and has grown so much. Shy at first, this girl is now bubbling with personality. She loves to play with her foster home resident dog Cooper. Their favorite activity is chasing each other in the backyard and wrestling with each other in the grass. Being a younger pup, Pennie could play forever, but she does a great job of understanding when Cooper has had enough and wants some alone time. This is when she likes to play with her toys. She loves playing with her toys, tossing them up in the air back to herself. We've been working on some commands and she is getting better. Her biggest motivator is love and affection, she doesn't seem to be very treat motivated at least with the treats we've used so far. She is potty trained and is kennel trained but will be a bit dramatic about it from time to time (more on that in a moment).
Pennie also is great at providing comic relief. Going to slow getting her breakfast/dinner? You'll hear her lodge a verbal complaint. Want her to go in her kennel before she's gotten the attention she thinks she's owed? You are in for the best rendition of playing dead you've ever seen!
Pennie is a wonderful pup that would do well in a variety of home situations. She definitely would do best in a home with someone that can give her lots of love and attention. Having another playful pup in the home would be great too.
