Hi, I’m Malone and I am the biggest love bug! Before I was rescued, I was living outside (in the cold winter weather) wrapped in metal chains, and in terrible shape. I spent a lot of time at the vet, and was always a very well behaved boy! Despite the way I was treated before rescue, I only treat others with love! I’m a super cuddler and love to take naps resting my head on you (where I feel safe), and might even snore a little! I am gentle, and affectionate, and nudge you when I want some attention. I am potty trained, and start to whine if I need to go outside. I sleep in a large indoor kennel at night, and don’t bark or cry at all. I am very content just having a warm home and being loved! I live with 2 other dogs, and cats, and I get along with all of them, but chase the cats sometimes if I want to play. I am always up to play, but not hyper.  I love food and treats, but I’m not aggressive about it, and I don’t get in your bubble when you eat, but I might stare at you. I am so grateful that I was saved, and if you choose me to be a part of your family, I will be your best friend for life!

***Medical

Malone was found in below zero temperatures with chains wrapped around his body in addition to significant bleeding wounds from being attacked by other dogs. The chains had to be cut off. They revealed frost bite, trauma and infected wounds from the cold metal being so tightly wrapped around his body.

Malone’s abdomen was full of internal abscesses from the trauma of being tightly bound and from being attacked by another animal. He is severely bruised and in intense pain. He has spent the first week in rescue at the vet clinic receiving IV fluids, antibiotics, pain meds, laser therapy and other treatments crucial for his recovery. Malone has been through something no dog should ever have to endure. Please be a part of his recovery process and donate today.
