Hi! I'm Maisie! I am still settling into my new foster home but so far I have made sure to let them know a few things that are very important to me. First I will let you in on a little secret....I have SUPERPOWERS! There are a lot, but I'll just start with a few.

#1 - I can talk!!!! No really, I TALK to my humans all the time! I can't say actual words like some huskies I've heard about on the internet, but I do greet you with some really unique husky noises. I'm pretty awesome like that.

#2 - I also have really good disguises! I pretend like I am a LAZY dog that wants to just lie around, but I really do LOVE running and walks and playing! I am really good at walks. I hardly ever even pull on my leash. I just don't always tell you that is what I want to do so it's easy to forget how much energy I have. But because I am a husky, I know I need a lot of exercise.

#3 - I have a super cool stealth mode. I am so sneaky that I can grab something my humans put 'away' on top of my kennel or on the counters without anyone hearing a peep. I help myself to whatever I think looks good, like chewies, treats, or anything those sloppy humans leave laying around. Shhh...don't tell my foster mom about those missing chicken thighs, but man they were tasty!

#4 - My most prized superpower is being an escape artist. I can escape almost anything you try to put me in to find you again. I just love being around my humans SO much! I want someone with me ALL the time! I really really really HATE being all alone so please don't try to leave me for a long time until I trust that you will come back to me. My awesome friends at Journey Home are letting me borrow a super strong crate until I get used to things...but I would still really rather not go in there. I pretty much don't want to be left alone at all, I get super stressed out when I am all alone or feeling trapped. My foster family is working on training me, they keep telling me that my crate is a safe place to wait for them to come back home, but I am pretty stubborn so it might take a while.

Anyways, maybe after I get to know you a little I will let you in on some more superpowers, but that is all you get for now. I would love to meet you and see if you would be a good forever home for me! I am super gentle with my foster canine brother and my foster's little people. I am also really cool about meeting new people. Hope to see you soon!
