Hi, I'm Cloud! I came from a barn outside of East Grand Forks. I lived there with my mother for 14 weeks! I am proud to be able to say that my father was a Russian Blue! I have been in my foster home for a month now. I was so scared and so shy at first! I spent the first few weeks at my foster home hiding under a blanket. Then my foster mom took away my blanket and brought in some other kittens and I watched them play. I watched her pet them. They liked it! I was so surprised. I decided to let her pet me too. I LOVE IT! I love to have the pads of my feed rubbed. I love to have my neck scratched and I love to have my belly rubbed. Now when my foster mom comes close to me, I start purring. I can’t help myself. I still wait for her to pet me. And if you come to meet me, I will probably be scared, but if you are patient with me, I might be able to be your new best friend.
I love to play. I love all the other cats who live in my foster home. I love to be petted and I really love treats. I am very shy and you might think I don’t want to meet you, but if you go slow with me, you will hear that I cannot stop purring.
P.S. Here is the catch. I have to be honest. I only like to be touched when I am in a relaxed, liquid state. I am too scared when I am wide awake. I will come to you for a treat, but I will be scared if you try pet me then. Catch me at nap time and I am yours for the loving.
Foster mom is working with me on this, and she thinks I am practically perfect, except for that tiny detail, but we are working on it. Also, you need to know that when I am wide awake, being picked up strikes terror into my soul. I don’t think you will catch me because I am fast, and of course I will have to hide.
*Must go to a home with another cat.
