Update: Boots has really came out of his shell since coming to us 6 months ago. He loves to be near his foster family either snuggled up on a lap or in his dog bed. We have noticed that he is starting to adjust to strangers faster than when he first starting living with us, his fosters. He has recently started to experience small seizures during the night but that doesn’t seem to effect his day to day activity. He has been placed on a medication to treat seizures that he takes three times a day. He is also being followed closely for his congestive heart failure. He has had his medications adjusted and he is currently taking 4 medications twice a day for his CHF and was recently placed on two medications for his lungs that he takes twice a day as well. He takes his pills like a champ usually with his food or with a treat. Don’t let his health fool you he still loves to play outside and go for walks. He loves attention and is looking forward to a forever family that will show him unconditional love! Boots will be perfect for anyone looking for a snuggle bug companion.
