Hi, I'm Biggie or Big-E, E for Eeyore. That's who I remind my foster dad of. I was rescued this fall from living on a chain all 8-10 years of my life. I have been pretty scared and cautious of everything that is new to me in the world off a chain, but I have done a good job at learning to get through it. I have come such a long way and can't wait to continue to brave through things. I have conquered severe lymes disease, abdominal surgery for intestinal issues, and removal of a benign testicular tumor, all since my arrival in August. Great news, I am fully recovered!
I am currently in a foster home with other dogs and I enjoy their company. They are all females dogs and don't pay much attention to me - I think I would like it if they would. I act hand shy at first when my foster mom comes to pet me but then I remember I enjoy it and let her. Occasionally I will even sink into her for comfort.
My foster family does use a tie-out for me when I go outside. I do well on this. I would like to see what having a fenced yard is all about. I LOVE going on walks and am a great walking buddy. I have also started following my foster family upstairs to bed and would love to be able to have a family I can share a bedroom with, share a life with, and share love with, all while living inside.
